Eenadu vs Sakshi

This is one of the interesting things I have noticed.

I started reading telugu news paper online and noticed that both the famous news papers are running because of corruption. Both papers start writing about their competitor'S corruption.
A typical example.

Eenadu: అధికార పాపం - అవినీతి కూపం సాక్షి

Sakshi: రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్‌సిటీ అక్రమ భూములకు

"Both the news paper came to prominence when their own political party was in power"

Eenadu had help from so called N Chandra Babu Naidu where as Sakhi had from Late: Y S Raja Shekar Reddy. Jagan who is son of YSR should now realize that publishing bad about congress in their news paper leads to many problems to him. Its interesting to see that congress started searching for roots of Sakshi News paper as Jagan Left the party. Now its time for eenadu to show up all the corruption made by sakshi on the front page of eenadu everyday showing it with vibrant colours and attracting cartoons, what sakshi did when YSR was in power. I hope that now people know the truth about the real scams and corruption made by Jagan and his father in Sakshi news paper.

Sakhi's Jagan invested just 8 lakhs and has approximately 70 share in the news paper company. The news paper even boosts about this saying that its Jagan's Master mind in doing business ( actually its because his father was cheif minister).

Ramoji film city it's one among the biggest film cities in the world. I do not know how government agreed for providing that huge amount of land for one person when many people in AP are suffering without food and cloth.

Now both have their own news channels each showing the same which is in their news papers just with more masala for making it spicy and broadcasting the same thing 24x7. I hope that the government now realizes not issue permission for such channels. ( government it self is corrupt over here)

I am hoping that a proper news paper comes to the people of Andhara Pradesh which is not partial and free from corruption.

First Cooking Experience in singapore

I am doing my exchange program in National University of Singapore and staying in PGP residence where I don't have a mess facility. I have canteen but got bored of eating in the canteen just after ten days then I started thinking about cooking myself..?? felt exciting.... My hostel kitchen has all most all the facilities like microwave oven, stove, toaster and many more. I thought of starting maggi noodles.Then went to the supermarket and started searching for maggi noodles. To my luck i did not find maggi then started searching in some other brands.. ironically i am a vegetarian and all the stuff i got had crab, fish, chicken noodles etc. Finally i got some thing which was vegetarian, feeling happy came to hostel kitchen and checked the noodles packet and luckily it did not had masala.ooopphhh!!
Two days after i went to little India ( a place in Singapore where you find all Indian stuff) and bought a lot of maggi packets. Came home started cooking on the induction stove. I have never used an induction stove till now. I did not know how to operate it then got help from fellow cluster-mates and learnt how to operate it. It started boiling slowly and it took almost 1hour for boiling. I cooked my noodles at-last after 1 hour and now the REAL problem.. How to eat?. I bought a plate some days back from the supermarket, but i did not have a spoon or fork. Then struck something.., I remembered the chopsticks which were given to me one week before in our orientation talk. It was very difficult for me to eat with chopsticks but i tried my level best and finished in half an hour ( 30 mins!! quite a task :). This is my first cooking experience in Singapore......Hoping for many more thrills and experiences and definitely lots of experiments... :P

The Night Watchman

This is a Real story.......

This happened to me when i was doing my internship in Mumbai. Me any my friend lokesh , we were doing our internship in Mumbai, we were working in Axiom Educaiton Pvt Ltd. We were provided accomodation by company in the company Guest House in Sakinaka, and our office was situated in Andheri (East). The office was very neat to our house and we used to walk during the evening time when we were coming from office. The house which we used stay has an auto lock system (if you close the door that will lock automatically and you need the keys to open). We were only two me and lokesh staying in the double bed room flat. Days were passing and a new member joined in the office his name is praveen he is form hyderabad. We had two keys for the room and we gave one key for him( the biggest mistake I did......( The picture shows our apartments)

That was a routine day me and lokesh came form office and we came to our room in the night. We were reading a NEWS paper we saw an advertisement in the news paper saying " Vishal Mart second Aniversary and you can get 50 percent discount on everything " and the offer lasts only for one day. Then loki said "i need to buy a electric rice cooker", the original cost was 1500 and the offer price was 750. We then called the company and said we need to buy one, the telephone operator said offer lasts only for today, if you want you can come and buy today it self. Me and loki decided ok we are going to buy it, time was 2200, we started in a rush, when we were about to close the door loki said room keys, by the time i heard it I closed the room door, and the room keys were inside...(room locked and we were outside). The keys were in my other pant which i wore on that day morning.

We then thought its ok when we come back praveen will be there inside and we thought he can help us. We took an auto and started for vishal mart, it was raining heavily in mumbai at that time and there were lots of thunders. The auto got stuck in the mid and we took an another auto and reached the place. We were about to enter the security at the entrance said we are closed sir you can come tommo. We explained him that we called them and we came for buying. Then manager over there said, sir we are closed for today you can come tommo we will give u the offer for tommo also. We tried a lot to convince them but they did not allowed us to enter. Then we returned back to andheri by bus. When we reached there it was almost 2330. We went to our apartment and knocked the door there was no reply. We had praveen number but just two days before this incident Airtel tower was exploded in Parle, because of that no airtel phone was working in Bombay. Praveen number was Airtel number, we tried a lot but we were unable to connect him. Then we tried calling praveen friends whom he called using my mobile in the morning. We did not got any clue where he was. We went and knocked the door more than 5 to 6 time and banging it very hard. but no reply from inside, the apartment was in 5th floor so climbing was also not easy one.

We asked the security over there and he said he cannot do anything untill the management comes in the morning. We lost all the balance in our cell phones trying to call praveen friends.
we were on out night dress and outside the house on a rainy day. The security said if you want you can sleep in the Flats which are being renovated. We went there and saw . There was not place to sleep. Then we saw an uncle and explained him the problem he said try to open the door with his keys we tried but i did not work. Uncle said that he cannot allow us to sleep in his house because they just moved in 2 days back and his house was not arranged.

The whole night we were walking on the roads for sometime and atlast i gave up and slept at 3 ' o clock in the morning on the security table ( i do not remember how I slept overthere ), Poor loki was still roaming around the whole palce. The watchman also slept on his chair then loki became the night watchman.

It was early in the morning at 5 30 i got up and loki was still awake and we decided to have dosa near at the next stop, we used to eat our daily breakfast over there and whenever we go and ask for dosa he used to say finished sir " why dont you come early" . We thought because of this night out we are having dosa in the stall today. We went and had Dosa and Idly (without washing face or brushing teeth). We then came back to apartment. I said loki i will go and try once again knocking the door. I went and knocked the door hard. Then praveen opened the door. I got shocked after seeing him inside. I said why you did not open the door in the night, he did not hear it. I asked him why did you switch off the doorbell, he said i don't know that the switch was for door bell ( since he is new to the room). I went down and said loki the room is now open. He got really angry on Praveen but we cannot do anything to him. We entered the room called the office and siad the whole thing happened to our mentor and asked for half day permission. At last we got the cooker the next day night form the mart. That cooker helped us a lot in cooking while we were doing our third year intern in bangalore.

That is how we became a night watchman in Mumbai.
